What happened?
Borussia Dortmund has signed Konstantinos Karetsas for 33 million euros, the second-most expensive transfer in club history. The Greek international will take over the role of Julian Brandt in the team's attacking midfield.

Karetsas will bring creativity and pace to the team, and is expected to score more goals than his predecessor. The Greek international had already expressed his willingness to join the club and had been in talks with the BVB for weeks.
What comes next?
It will take a few weeks for Karetsas to adjust to the new tempo in the Bundesliga. The BVB has already signed another player, Said El Mala, from 1. FC Köln, although this has not been officially announced yet.
