Borussia Dortmund Makes a Blitz Transfer

Borussia Dortmund has made a quick move in Italy by signing the 16-year-old midfielder Roberto Scaglione from FC Genua. The deal is already finalized and comes with a minimum transfer fee of one million euros.

Scaglione, who hails from Andorra, was already on Borussia Dortmund's radar last summer before he joined the Genua squad. At 15 years old, he was called up to the FC Genua first team by legendary French player Patrick Vieira and had the chance to become one of the youngest professionals in Serie A. However, he did not make his debut.

Inter Milan, Juventus Turin, Paris Saint-Germain, and even Bayern Munich were interested in the talented teenager before he ultimately signed with Dortmund. Scaglione will join Borussia Dortmund's youth academy where he can continue to develop his skills.
