Borussia Dortmund may soon part ways with Yan Couto. After two disappointing years under coach Niko Kovac, a summer transfer is on the horizon. Italian Serie A club Como 1907 has already entered negotiations to sign the Brazilian right-back. Coach Cesc Fàbregas has reportedly expressed interest in Couto, which would present an attractive sporting opportunity for the player. Como has qualified for the Champions League, offering him a chance to perform on a big stage, similar to what he would have at Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund had secured Couto permanently from Manchester City for around 25 million euros in 2025, and his contract runs until 2029. The Black and Yellows are thus facing an unpleasant financial loss. In the past season, Couto made only 19 Bundesliga appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists. He spent the full 90 minutes on the bench in 27 out of 72 competitive matches under Kovac. The situation was quite different when he was signed. Known as
